Reddit Cleaner – Bulk Delete Posts, Comments & History

New in the Chrome Web Store
View on Web Store

What you can delete

  • Bulk delete your own Reddit posts and comments
  • Filter by content type, age, subreddit, karma threshold, or keyword
  • Review every matching item before anything is deleted
  • Optionally overwrite text before deleting, so edits do not survive in caches
  • Protect pinned or awarded items from a run
  • Pause, stop, and resume speed controls for long histories

How a cleanup run works

  1. Open Reddit in Chrome and open the side panel from the extension icon.
  2. Set the filters — type, age, subreddit, karma, keyword — and scan.
  3. Review the matching posts and comments the scan found.
  4. Confirm, and watch the run. You can pause or stop it at any point.

What Reddit will not let it remove

  • It can only remove content your own account posted.
  • Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone from the extension.
  • Reddit controls its own retention, backups, and third-party copies of anything you published.
  • Very large histories take time: Reddit rate-limits requests and the extension deliberately paces itself.

Reddit deletion FAQ

Can I try Reddit Cleaner for free?

Yes. The free plan includes a daily allowance of deletions. Monthly or lifetime access removes the limit.

Does it delete other people's comments?

No. It works only on posts and comments made by the account you are signed in as.

What does overwrite do?

Before deleting, editable text is replaced with a placeholder, so a cached copy of the original text is less likely to survive.

Is this affiliated with Reddit?

No. CleanMySocial is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Reddit, Inc.
